The joy of meeting again

Dear friends,

Here, the confinement is officially finished and I have just made the last watercolor of my confinement diary. Perhaps one day I will share its content with you ... What a strange period we have just lived!

Life is quietly resuming its normal course, with the joy of finding my students at my painting class, the satisfaction of seeing the restaurants reopening and the pleasure of inviting you this evening to share a drink at the Bistrot des Arts for the deconfinement of my exhibition .

During confinement, I worked on large formats from Geneva which were to be exhibited at the beginning of June at the first edition of the Book Festival in Collonges-Bellerive. Following the postponement of this very beautiful event, today I invite you to discover exclusively my latest paintings from Geneva.

I would like to thank and congratulate all those who dared to participate in my artistic challenges. Your drawings illustrating your 'Windows with a view' and your 'Interiors' delighted me with their creativity and sensitivity and are displayed on my site. These two themes, very present in the history of art, inspired me two articles which you can discover on my blog:

- Windows in art history

- The Nabis and the beauty of interior painting

Currently, I am painting to prepare my exhibition at Saint-Lunaire this summer. You can also discover on my site, in preview, my new paintings of Brittany.

I thank you all deeply for your loyalty, your support and your kind messages which accompany me on this great artistic adventure.

See you soon, Gaëlle

I invite you to come and share a drink this evening, Tuesday, May 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Bistrot des Arts, to celebrate the deconfinement of my paintings!

Exhibition of my paintings from Geneva until June 29

Bistrot de Arts Place du Bourg-de-Four 16

Discover my brand new paintings from Geneva that I will not be able to exhibit in June ...

Until May 2021, the date of the postponement of the book festival, I am looking for a beautiful room in Geneva to be able to exhibit this fall.

We took great pleasure in meeting again at the Atelier du Square, for our weekly oil painting sessions, while respecting the requirements of distance and safety.

Registration still possible

Too nice to discover my aquatints from Brittany in this beautiful Haussmannian apartment. I love this cadmium red wall. What a daring decoration idea: bravo!

I like to receive your photos. Thank you.
